Mennekes Stecker GmbH & Co. KG is certified for the requirements of the automotive industry

The Mennekes-Stecker GmbH & Co. KG, a subsidiary of the Mennekes-group, was recently certified according to ISO/TS 16949 and has therefore rendered proof that it meets all requirements that the automotive industry has to a quality management system.
Mennekes was a pioneer in the development of the globally standardised charging plug device for electric vehicles. In addition to a wide range of charging stations, the company also offers solutions for automotive manufacturers (OEM). Mennekes Stecker GmbH & Co. KG was founded for activities in this area in 2010.
The company develops customer-specific solutions in the area of electric vehicle plug-in devices on the future market of electric mobility. Because the specific requirements of the automatic industry must be met to successfully act on this market, the organisation and processes of the company have been aligned with the needs of the automotive industry.

The Mennekes-Stecker GmbH & Co. KG was recently certified according to ISO/TS 16949. 
The product range for the automotive industry includes charging connections in the electric vehicle, so-called charging inlets, and charging cables. 

Special requirements to quality management
The automotive industry places special value on the design and implementation of a quality management system. The Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) therefore created the technical specification TS 16949 as a standard in which the requirements to a quality management system are described.
Mennekes established a quality-management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001 many years ago. The company was able to profit from this experience and to thus quickly meet all requirements. After the audit, Mennekes Stecker GmbH & Co. KG was recently certified pursuant to ISO/TS 16949.

Partner of the Automotive Industry 
Many pioneering projects of German and European OEM have been equipped with the products of Mennekes Stecker GmbH & Co. KG. The company is cooperating with nearly all German OEM in various vehicle projects. The product range for the automotive industry includes charging connections in the electric vehicle, so-called charging inlets, and charging cables.
Mennekes Stecker GmbH & Co. KG is an independent subsidiary of Mennekes Group and currently employs 23 employees.
